Ada Sage

Logline: Locked in their apartment during a global pandemic, two roommates descend into madness among a fantasy world, but as they are constantly interrupted by the increasingly distressing abuse of their elderly neighbor, they decide they must avenge her.

Bio: Ada Sage is a writer, director, and cinematographer currently pursuing her MFA at NYU Tisch. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies from the University of Michigan. Her work prioritizes the voices and experiences of women and reimagines historically male-dominated genres, especially horror and thriller. With a background in experimental and dance film, her narrative work aims to blend experimental techniques with humanist narratives to create deeply emotional and subjective filmic experiences. She is drawn to crafting visually striking, immersive worlds that invite audiences into spaces of moral complexity, bringing to the surface questions of identity, power, and societal norms.
