Logline: A teenage air-rifle athlete tampers with his rival’s rifle to secure a place in the provincial trials—only to discover that the real distance between them cannot be measured in points.
Bio: Baggio Jiang holds a B.A. in Psychology and Film from Stanford University and is currently pursuing an MFA at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. He is a member of the Shanghai Filmmakers Association and was selected for the 2024 GEN.T List of Asia’s New Generation.
His short films, including Amitabha, 502 and LIVE, have been selected for festivals such as the Krakow Film Festival, the San Francisco International Film Festival, and the Golden Horse Film Festival. His feature film Shards won Best Director and the Rémy Martin Audience Choice Award at the 18th FIRST International Film Festival.
