Chris Piliouni

Logline: A young woman revisits an underground party in Athens in hopes of reconnecting with her elusive ex. What she finds out there, however, is a fever dream of her erasure.

Chris Piliouni is a Greek filmmaker with a background in podcast production and development. Their films center queer characters and worlds, using drama, satire, and surrealism to explore experiences and identities that are absent from dominant cinematic narratives. They are a Leventis and an M.C. Soteriades Foundation scholar and their work has been featured in Antivirus magazine and the Financial Times among others. They hold a BA in the humanities from Sciences Po Paris.
