Lejend Yazzie

Logline: An intimate peek into a pregnant teenager’s life on the reservation as she considers moving away from her chosen and biological family as her looming due date encroaches.

Bio: Lejend Yazzie is a Diné film director, screenwriter, and producer. Born and raised in the Sonoran desert, she is now based in NYC. She is a multi-alumn of the Sundance Institute Indigenous Program and is a current Sundance Institute Indigenous Intensive Participant. Inspiration for her work stems from the glittery experiences in life and a dedication to reclaiming the voices of Indigenous people on screen.
