Logline: A Ukrainian chef pours everything into one Christmas dinner to win over investors and save her restaurant dream — but as the night unravels, she finds that the only person who truly sees her is the stranger who delivers her flowers.
Bio: Lena Abraham is a Ukrainian-American filmmaker, actress, and MFA candidate at NYU Tisch. Originally from Donetsk, she holds a Master's in TV Journalism and built her early career in investigative documentary. Her work spans narrative and documentary, with a focus on war, displacement, and human connection. Recent credits include Checkpoint Zoo (prod. Leonardo DiCaprio). She is drawn equally to narrative film — often appearing in front of the camera as well as behind it. Her films center overlooked voices through a sensory-driven cinematic language.
