Malcolm Walker

Logline: In rural Mississippi, Mike and Lucky - uncle and nephew - must confront the memory that’s divided them when Lucky returns home to dig for the treasure he buried with his late cousin years ago.

Malcolm Walker is a second year graduate film student at New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts with a focused and defined interest in becoming an entertainment mogul. Born in Jackson, Mississippi but raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Malcolm discovered his passion for film at the age of 12, and his work looks to reframing the images of people of color on screen, connect culture and community, and aspire future generations of storytellers to dream beyond their sight. Malcolm aspires to one day write and direct for film and television, bringing authenticity and a depth of experience onto the big screen.
