Noa Tshimanga

Logline: When a high school senior, Ava, visits her older sister before graduation, their close relationship is tested as they unravel the unseen ways their parents shaped them.

Noa is originally from the DRC, but grew up near Atlanta, GA before moving to the NYC area. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S in Global Economics. Before pivoting full-time into filmmaking, she was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co.. Now an MBA/MFA candidate at New York University (NYU), Noa strives to make films that examine complicated relationships and fill the gaps of representation in media.
